How we rank gyms
Our rankings are editorial. We don't score coaching quality, atmosphere or results, because we can't verify those fairly for every gym. We score only what a gym states publicly about itself, and we link the page where we found each fact.

Rules
- A gym is ranked only when at least 5 criteria can be verified from a public source. Unknown counts as zero, not as "no".
- Ties are broken alphabetically.
- A city ranking is published once at least three gyms qualify.
- Sponsored or featured listings are labelled and never change the ranking order.
- We recheck sources periodically; each gym page shows its last-checked date.
- Gyms can send corrections with a link to the public page that supports them.
Where the data comes from
Gym locations come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) and gyms' own websites. Ranking facts come from each gym's own website or, for founding dates, Companies House.
